My Trip to Dublin

Finally finished writing up my trip to Dublin. It truly was the trip of a lifetime, so there was a lot of pressure to write the perfect story. I did my best, but eventually you have to go with what you’ve got.

I had a great time, and I felt I was among many kindred spirits  who had made the same commitment to the life of the mind. You don’t see that in a lot of cities.

For two weeks I’ve been listening to  ‘Sing All Our Cares Away’ by Damien Dempsey. I’ve listened to it over and over and over again. I haven’t been so fixated on a song since Midnight Train to Georgia.
