Hello, Stephen,
I would like to read more of your blog. Orestes looks like he has disassociated; how could he be smiling when the Furies are closing in on him?
Your friend,

Dear Mr. Hartshorne,
I hope you can help me with a research question. The lawyer William Hackley in 1855 living and working in Key West FL noted in his diary (which I am preparing for publication) that he was reading “Canadian Cruises”. This could be a book, or perhaps a magazine. Can you offer any advice on where I might find the bibliographic data? I’ve already unsuccessfully tried the Internet. Thank you in advance for you assistance.
Sincerely yours,
Brewster Chamberlin
